The ALL FDA grade stainless rods cradle your costly cuts of meat allowing more even heat distribution and quicker cooking time. There is no skewering of the meat, resulting in a juicier and better presented product. The design allows you to cook a variety of shapes and sizes of meats, even meats you could never before rotiss such as bone-in roasts. The specially designed patented Meat-On Lock Arms securely holds individual items such as whole turkey, chicken, roasts or large whole animals such as lamb or pig. Individual items with different cooking times can be easily removed without having to take the Cradle from the grill - a feature that is highly regarded by those that cook and serve large quantities of meat over an extended period.
A typical spit rod requires you to truss, wire and spear your meat. No more shredded, half cooked meat falling into the fire. With the barbecue cradle all of the hassles of the spit rod such as wiring, tying, trussing and spearing are eliminated.
| The barbecue cradle allows items such as birds and whole animals to be held open allowing cooking from the inside and out - this helps guarantee a fully cooked product. A whole 125 lb pig cooks in a fraction of the time - 4 1/2 - 6 hours over a low, controlled fire compared to 12 - 20 hours with an average spit-rod. This allows you to produce a tender, fully cooked and beautifully golden product that uses less charcoal and a great deal less work. |

Even the chef gets to enjoy the party instead of constantly tending to cooking. Included are the Heat/Wind Control Panels that allow you to moderate your cooking time and temperature, Whole Hog's One Man Operation 5 Position Lift Arms to regulate the height and cooking time of your meat, and removable Legs with Heavy Duty Casters. The legs can be removed for ground cooking. The balanced design eliminates jerking and the need for counter balance, this reduces wear on your rotisserie motor.
